Thread: SLABFEST November 4, 2009 Plam Island Park, Mt Dora, FL

The votes are in and it looks like Palm Island Park, Mt. Dora has garnered the most votes, and we will meet Wednesday November 4, 2009. Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
We should plan on being back at the dock by 12:00 NOON, which will give us time to check fish in, weigh and measure, clean and start to cook.

How about specific directions to the boat ramp. My map shows 2 lauching ramps, but no names.

For directions, it would depend on how you approached Mt Dora.

Pontoon pappy and I will bring: 1 gal oil, 1 fish fryer, plastic cups, water hose and electric cord, electric filet knife (2), dessert, bag of ice, 1 gal. tea, and tarter sauce.
John, thanks for your hard work. I wish everyone could make it,but I'm sure we can come up with a solution.

my apologies to gopher (doug)...hopefully someone will kind enough to let you fish with them!

I'll bring some of my wife's pasta salad. We haven't found anyone yet that doesn't like it.

hopifly will be in florida for the outing but going to give by all to making it to this outing so if those thing isnt mention and needed let me know and I will bring it
