Hey guys if we decide to fish Dora for the slab fest...does anyone have any problems fishing Beauclair, Carlton, and the Apopka canal along with Dora? Just wanted to find out...

The idea to fish Lake Dora, was to get to launch close to Beauclare, Carlton, Horseshoe Lake and Lake Dora.
Where ever we are talking about fishing, is just to indicate where we are going to have the get-to-gether, not to indicate where you have to fish.
Would never tell a fisherman/fisherwoman where to fish.

just wondering because I know we have mentioned something about that in the past when we were at Monroe and Hickory Point...but I just wanted to check with the others...

If I,m reading this right then you dont have to put in at same launch as everyone! Havent been to a event yet but will in near future

That correct gopher.
At the launch that we select, we meet, after fishing we gather to weigh in and measure the fish , clean fish in preparation for the fish fry and have the picnic at the tables in the picnic area.

well hopefully i wont need any direction seeing as i live on Dora!! i will be prefishing sometime this week and def. this weekend...i have to go check on a few hot spots of mine...
