I had it somewhere but...anyway, last time I talked to him back in the spring, he was interested in getting his group involved with ours. If you have his number could you call him, etc about Saturday. If you don't have his number maybe Flycaster or someone else can help?
Also - how come we don't have a last place trophy? Trudy and I would be at least 3 time running champs!

SORRY I don't know Darryl Cole. What is his handle (screen name).
If I knew I could look it up and send him an private message.

    Flycaster,
Sorry - Darryl is the organizer of the Florida Crappie Assoc - I did find his phone number this afternoon and talked to him a little bit ago. He fishes Sandy's tournament which is this weekend and the FCA tournament is next weekend - basically the FCA tournaments are every 2nd Saturday of the month and Sandy's are the 1st Saturday of the month.
Anyway, depending on scheduling, he wants to fish with us at some point.

Now with all that said, anybody heard from Nick and Charlie?

    See you all on Saturday

    Don

I called Nick and he is currently in Huston, TX.
Not sure when he will return.

I talked to Bill, at Sandy's and he said that the tournament Saturday is off because of the FCA next weekend

Guys- Don't believe Chuck, after fishing with him in his rig last weekend, he won't be a handicap. I've seen his "Handy-crappieness" first hand with his inventiveness! Does this then classify him as a "handicrap"? See ya Saturday. Big 10-4 on the 10/3!!:D
Specky- The real trophy one receives at our slabfests is the ability to attend, enjoy and exchange experiences/techniques with fellow anglers who target the fish we seemingly crave with the cooler season! Food is great too!
I guess you could say the participants are all winners!:D

I know all about Byhalia, my family originated there on my grandmother side, infact she still has close kin there that we see occasionally. Is the little brick plant still there? My dad runs a brick plant in Louisville and we use to sell to them

We will be thinking of you, top chef.:D
It is hotter than 40 HELLS here today, tomorrow they keep dropping the chances of rain, mainly in the afternoon. By then we should be into the cleanup stages.
