What are your thoughts on scents. Do you use them, have you tried any, is it worth a try.
Crappie nibbles seemed to work, but have not used them but a couple of times.
A gun in hand is a lot better than a cop on the phone.
Crappie fishers around these parts (NE Louisiana) treat crappie nibbles like one of those long ago highly touted credit cards: they won't leave home without them. When I get down to 2 bottles in my tackle box, I start to get a little uneasy. On a more serious note, I think they sometimes really help. Good luck to the FL crappie chasers. Ray
Proud to be an AMERICAN fisherman!
Have used them in the past and swore by them. Did not use them last year....but still have some (if they have not dried up) in my box. When things get slow.........I usually try to enhance the bite.

They helped me in cloudy water. Always keep some in the boat. Softened some by mixing with water and put em in a syringe, squeeze em into tubes.
Wake me up early,
Be good to my dogs,
and teach my children to pray.
Believe me, they work and last a long time
