Thread: Slabfest time again????

It has been reported that several of you are beginning to get into a crappie mood.
is this the time to begin this seasons slabfest??

Hi John;
I generally don't go again till after the first cold snap.
But, do read the forum as to what you guys are catching, etc....
Am really bogged down at the moment with work and this project for my son.
But, ya'll enjoy, if I can get away, will do so, etc........

"Phantom: It is just a question to see if anyone is ready to go out. As the suggestioner said that we could have hotdogs and hamburgers if nothing else.

Just want to keep the lines open and place all suggestions to everyone.

I've been saltwater a couple times, got a couple black drum and Reds but give em to the guests, etc....

Went out of Cape Canaveral in May, got two mahi-mahi. Was out on shuttle launch day which limited the fishing grounds. Went to the gulf stream and did not find any weed lines to speak of. SLOW day and the nest day I end up with clogged sinus and it must be an allergy.

I am with Phantom on this one. Its not that I don't want to go out, I went out yesterday, but I don't know where to catch them this part of the year. I know they are schooling but I have never been able to catch them during this time of year. I am more of a jiggin/dock shooting type. Maybe we should have a clinic this time of year with someone that can show me how to catch some fish.

We're all in. Haven't fished all summer for one reason or another. Will be gone for the next ten days, but October 3 or 4 sounds good. Don't have to be a full slabfest - maybe after fishing we could go to a local watering hole for a tips and tricks clinic?
We're up for it - Just tell us where to be and when and we'll be there. I agree that B8Fish is a good idea, plus Darryl Cole and his bunch will probably show up.
I think this year we can have some super slabfests and this might be a good time to do the planning.
