    Default Lake Talquin (Winter Picture)

Could not stand it anymore and had to come trolling. Trolling Motor would not turn lift or right so had to troll in a straight line. Saw plenty of fish but told them to wait until October to bite and they heard me. Here is a picture of 2 whoppers caught by Bennie Ray back in January. Check out the mount when you visit Lake Talquin Lodge.

That motor isn't old enough to be giving you those kind of problems....Guess you might as well go ahead and put your order in for one of those new heads to go on that motor....

Beautiful mount. Someday at T I hope to match or catch a couple bigger. I think I wil bequeath it to LTL when I am gone.

Going to try some crank baits this weekend on Talquin, wish me luck their not cheap. .... Question for LIGHTWIREHOOKER. Do you remember the FOW you marked fish in this past weekend and if they were suspended. I need to buy some more crank baits and would like to know what series and for what depths before I go down. Now if I start catching fish on these cranks I don't want you to start following me around....

Just leave the beer at the camper and you'll be all alone on the lake

Learned something this past weekend......When I pulled my boat out of the water someone asked me what the problem was..I told him the motor would run straight but not turn in either direction......He said to unplug the motor and wait one minute and I said "sure"

I ate 'CROW" because the motor worked perfect when I tried it again.
