Default Phantom309 & TwoJigginJohn

Just saw on the news where SW Titusville had 26 inches of rain. Hope you guys faired well thru the storm and all is well. You should have enough water to fish in this fall anyway!!

Hi Larry;
Yep, plenty of water around here !
Everybody around my neighborhood faired pretty well, no major damage anywhere I can see.
Was talking to my ex wife on the phone yesterday (they live way out in the woods) she was telling me that her mother and sister caught almost 20 catfish in the front yard (walking catfish I guess), Sister had one at 11 inches.
Am just now beginning to get the fresh water desire, have been salt water fishin and it is boring to say the least ( I guess if I were catching something it wouldn't be so, etc....)
Been talking with John about getting back out there and searching around for some crappie, but is pretty early for us (me).
This dadgummed thing called "work" keeps getting in the way of my fishin
OK, Have a nice day,
Danny

Default Glad All's Well

John, That's pretty easy fishing. Are you setting limb lines or just netting them as they swim by?

Danny, We've been catching some nice crappie up this way lately. Water temp is down to lower 80's and we've been slow trolling curly tail grubs 7-10 ft deep over 11-18 ft of water. Had 21, 17 & 18 keepers 10-12 inch last three trips.

Wife had back surgery middle of June so we're still waiting to make it to T-ville on vacation. Looking like maybe late Sept or early Oct, if then.

Glad you all weathered the storm alright. Hopng to see you all later.

Larry

Hope the wife came through OK.
I'm just now recuperating from Sciatic nerve problems, we believe the problem is disc at L4/L5 afflicted with Degenerative Arthritus. Just got my third epidural and am almost over the pain in left butt-cheek. Was out of work for 5 weeks, Just now going back to work and seems to be OK, just ain't tryin to push it, etc.
We're still here, if I can get John away from "Mama" long enough to get a fishin trip in, we could find out if they're biting around here.
He's wanting to drive half way across the state to "check" and see if they're biting ! Silly goober ! Crappie pro's, can't tell em nothin !
