has the water level in Okeechobee came back up yet?

I think he means that big ol pond down south. Fay should help out a bit raising it back up to full level........to at least 4'.

I would also like to know some more details on the water levels in the Big O.

It's been horribly low the past couple years, and we've been thinking about making a trip for a weekend to do some fishing there. We've got relatives that live close by.

If anyone's got some more info on water levels in Okeechobee please share

Here's a good link. Level today is 11.80. It was about 9 ft last fall. Today is as high as its been since I started tracking in July 2007. A few years ago it averaged about 14 ft.

Merritt Island tropical storm update: Rained 16 hours yesterday. This morning its relatively calm with a few showers. Radar looks like the center is overhead. I expect it to start kicking again in a little while. Water is slightly over the seawall in the canals. Usually about two feet below.
