Default lake level UP

Walked to LITTLE LAKE HARRIS and did a rough measure of the water level.
The water level is UP 8 Inches from Sunday morning.
Now if they (SJWMD) would only let some of the flood level water, on the St John River, back up the tributaries and get the lake levels up.

I have a question for you guys.Is there any marinas on the chain that rent decent boats? We're coming down as well for the tournament. If a guy could rent a good setup, I wouldnt have to pull a 20 footer 1300 miles. Thanks PJ

Not sure about marinas, but there are boat rental places down there. Dead river marina is one that rents i believe. Would just google "boat rentals 34788" That is the easiest way I know to find out.
Dusty
PS. I pull my Kenner about 18k miles a year, ask Shu, it ain't no canoe.....life of a traveler though.

Went and looked at Lake Harris, at the Venetian Gardens ramp, looking better bu still about 15" low by looking at the rub rail.

LCWA shows:
Lake Harris=61.51' -.99'
Laake Eustis=61.49', -.65'

Dusty, looks like your boat will float.--shu

Sure hope so Shu. Not gonna leave it here in Texas. May have to leave it on the trailer and build a wood john boat though to get back and forth to our island.

Looks like water levels are leveling off
USGS Real-Time Water Data for USGS 02234000 ST. JOHNS RIVER ABOVE LAKE HARNEY NEAR GENEVA, FL
So, guess you guys are just going to have to have another hurricane , uh, excuse me, (Tropical storm) to get that 15 inches.
Now, they've closed all the lakes I fish to recreational activities LOL.
I can still put in at Hwy#50. I wanted to ride up there to Lake Harney and do a tour (boat) but they closed the dad-gummed hwy (#46). Hmmmmph !

Welup, it looks like it may just happen. Got a TD (going to be named Hanna if it does what they say) that is charted to head right for the east coast of florida. I keep asking the fisherman upstairs for "Just Rain". Hope he don't add too much wind to go along with it.
