Default Still a few on the farm pond

Went to Farm 13 Sunday morning. On the lake about 8:30. Fished the southern end around the timber in 4-5 ft of water. Kept 11 specs and 9 bluegill. Probably caught about 40 specs but most were dinks. Didn’t catch any giants like we did in the spring, but all of the one’s I kept were nice fish. Last weekend I kept 23, and to my surprise some had eggs. None of the one’s yesterday had any. Last weekend was the first time I’ve fished the pond since March, so I assume they have been biting a little bit along. Had a bucket of minnows and crickets but didn’t try any gigs. Saw several people hooked up with big bass. Fish seemed to be active. By 11:00 am, the lake was slick as glass and the temp and humidity were kicking. Couldn’t handle it and headed home.

Phil, call me if you want to go. Lost your number again.

I was down there on Saturday. Caught many dinks, but only 4 keepers. 1 crappie, 2 gills and a real nice Tilapia (first one I ever caught). Did not make it that far south, guess I should have,

Glad to see you guy's are still around!! I've been doing pretty decent under the bridges in my local canal......usualy 15 to 20 keepers per trip......been lettin em go though.....just havin fun in the shade when i have time. Well, I hope everyone is doing good and I look forward to cooler times...this past winter was realy fun !!!! I'm not complaining, but its certainly better when you dont have to sweat buckets to catch em.

See Yall later

Hey Roy,

Haven't fished as much as I'd like. Been in and out of town. Good to hear that you're still catching a few. I did have a chance to go out Sunday, but was debating specs or flounder. I was able to catch some finger mullet close by so I hooked up the big boat and put in at Port Canaveral. To my surprise I found a little stack of flounder. Here's a pic.

See you out there.

Rusty

Hiddy Ho Friends,

I am still alive, Been working like a darn plum crazy fool! 80+ hours a week for the last 3 months ! So if you all thought you might be inline to inherit my fishin poles your outa luck.

This year has been a weird one for me, Work like a dog for a few months at a time and then sit for a month. No rest for the weary. I have missed fishing with yall and gettin to tell about the good trips we have had!
Hope to get back to them soon enough. When I can finally find some steady work over on this coast and not in The big O town or Tampa !

Rusty, Have not heard back from you since I called you about the lease deal. Maybe you lost my number again ( 321-474-7369 or 321-622-4537) that number is good to all the fellow friends on here also. Like to hear from all of yall.

Phil
