Exclamation We're back in Texas.

Got here a couple of weeks ago and still getting set up. Have got good news though, found a place right on the water at Lake Conroe which is about 45 miles north west of Houston. Will post a couple of pics of the couple of times we did get out.
Wind has been a bear, and if not the wind, on weekends, everyone who owns a freshwater (and some with saltwater) boat that lives in Houston, comes to this lake. This makes it a slow go, if you want to brave it. So, we stick to the week days mostly.
Looking forward to getting back down that way in November, but the contract here is not up till the 26th of july, then we travel to Missouri until the first week in november.
Sure hope yall get some water down that way and the fishin picks back up.
Hey Shu, your more than welcome to come on over to do some fishin. The crappie are hitting pretty good, but you can't come back in off the lake without a big mess of channel cats (2-4lbs). They are a fun pull too and good eatin as well.
Yall have a nice one and visit the Texas board now and then.
Dusty
Shoot, only had one less than 155kb.

Glad you're doing good down there Dusty. I got to watch an Infisherman Catfish show from Lake Livingston and I've heard that Conroe is about the same. I like your choice of boats also. Have fun and be safe. If you get up to Rayburn give me a holler. Ferdi aka Fred

Thanks for the kudo's. Will have to watch the settings on the camera for sure. Have a lot of other pics, but they are too big to post.
All ready got some responses on the Texas forum and looking forward to meeting/fishing with as many members around this part of the world as possible.

Glad to see you got settled in and caught a few, haven't been speckin' since about the time you left but have caught a few grouper. Might try the cats here, they do taste good. Was wondering if you slipped off the edge.--shu

PS- you can resize your pics to post them.
