Thanks for the reply Duck. Good luck during the summer. When you get back, maybe we can hook-up at Talquin. This weekend will be my last trip down there until fall. I plan to start fishing in Eufula after this trip. I had stopped night fishing several years ago but plan to start back this year since I got time with my current job.
Anyone fish Talquin last weekend? Plan on going this weekend.
I'll be there this weekend. Staying at Lake Talquin Lodge. Will get there Friday around lunch and stay till Sunday. Jabbo from Wilcox County went last weekend and done good with the shellcrackers and bluegills. I guess that what we are gonna try for this weekend. May do some trolling for crappie too.....Where will you be staying at Sorrydog? Sorry I didnt see your post earlier, but I usually just stay on the GA board.
We stay at the camp ground at Halls landing. We're also planning on being there by lunch Friday. We'll fish for crappie first and hope to catch the late spawners. May try the bream if the crappie don;t bite. Can;t miss us on the lake. Will have the Golden retriver in the boat with us.
Not sure where Halls Landing is. But we will probably be in the areas between Little River and the Ocklawaha River on the north side of the lake.I'll be in a blue bass boat with a 85 Johnson, with a Crappie.com decal on the sides, and with a good looking red head as my partner...We'll probably hunting for shellcrackers.
