Default St Petes Beach

Will be in area 5/15 and would like to do a little gulf fishing - what species are around at that time. I fly fish and have seen fly fisherman wading around in the water in the area but don't know what they were fishing for. Any help will be appreciated.

All sorts of things will be happening in May. Tarpon should be here. You can also target snook in the surf. Fish the bays for redfish, snook, spotted seatrout, ladyfish and jack crevalle.

Why don't you visit us over on the fly fishing board?
