Took co-worker fishing this morning.
Went up the Econ, was beautiful, missed a few bites, caught a nice terrapin, and, that was about it !
Tried all the old spots, nada, looks like the Spec's have headed out for parts unknown.
We headed back out and I decided to lay down a nice trail on the GPS for future trips, etc.
Got that done, then headed across lake Harney to see if we could find any catfish at Deep Creek, nada, BUT !
My buddy did manage to hook one med Shellcracker. We tried to pick up a few more, no luck, we let the little guy go and headed to the bank.
Was a nice day though.

Kevin and I have been chasing the Turkeys and are about ready to get the rods out again.
Did you ever fish Monroe? A friend said he was still catching some.

We looked at Monroe and decided we really wern't going to be up for it (Tourney), just too far for the trouble, etc.
Looks like the Spec's have vamoosed (our neck of the woods) till next Fall.
I just set out my trot line awhile ago, got to get back there in the mornin and check it (They close the access overnight). Am now "Offically" catfishin for a few weekends, then will be back to the salt.
Will contact you to do a trip soon as I get a few folks off the list, etc.
Right now I got next four weekends dedicated to fishing with folks, and more want to go, if I ever get to em, etc. One seems to be a pretty popular fellow if he has a boat (And my son, is always, too busy, to go fishing).
