Default Lake Talquin Fishing without a boat

Where's the best place to fish in the Tallahassee area without a boat? I'm taking my 7 year old son fishing, but don't know where to go. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The dock at Williams Landing is a good place to try and also the dock at Coe's Landing.

Might also want to try the banks around the old boyscout camp. I fished friday-this morning and didnt catch a whole lot of crappie (no one did real good, infact there were only 1-2 boats out of LTL that caught crappie) but I filled the boat up with bream. Actually They ranged from extremely small to big average size fish.

We went Friday & Saturday. Caught the limit on Friday but they shut-down (caught ten the hard way) Saturday. We didn't even attempt to fish Sunday and went home. That front that came through shut them down. O'well---there's always next weekend!
