Default Sat-Lake Monroe

tjj and I have been contemplating fishing this upcoming tournament on Lake Monroe.
We were out there yesterday scoping it out and located B8Fish

He's dad-gummed ready for the tourney, his boat looked like a battle cruiser set to do battle for sure.

We stopped and said hi for a few then motored on around the lake.
Was a nice day and we didn't get our limit by far but we did get a few.

Total = 9crappie (Big fish = 12.5 in)
1 nice cat
1 nice Bluegill
1 med Warmouth
Have a nice day,
Danny
P.S. - We came to the conclusion that we really weren't that impressed with Lake Monroe, and have decided that we'd rather fish our own home waters on that weekend, so, we bow out, tx's but no tx's.

b8"s has the spider riggin down for sure! that area is an awesome place to fish. every where you look seems to be a good spot to fish. however it will take some time to learn.
so far it's bridges and maiden cane for the hot spots. thats the good news. the bad news is its maiden cane as far as the eye can see. if the st johns comes up 12 inches, look out! never the less it was a great day on the water as usual, it beats the heck out of working, and i am wondering what happened to the picture of the mud fish! thanks again for the fishin trip 309. tjj

Default Nice Pics

Thanks for the photo op Well I started the day out pulling jigs in and out of the channel. Resulted in 6 fish the biggest was 3/4 lb. Also a couple of big ol' catfish tied me up for a while. At 10:30 the sherriff decided to do a boat safety check on me. So, I had to pull in all the poles do the safety check and then I decided to move into the river and try my luck tite lining the deep spots. Pulled in another 10 fish or so and I was off the water by 12:15. I had a friend fishing over on Jessup and his results were about the same. I predict the fishing will pick up as we continue the warming trend. I hope to get back there next weekend. Looks to me like I better start doing some jigging if I want to compete Thanks for stopping by and saying hello.

b8. check out the southern pro hot grubs. i ordered every color they had, and they all look like they would catch fish. there are 25 different colors, one for each of your poles. your boat would make one heck of a field tester! nice meeting you, tjj.southernpro.com
