Default water temps

Egmont Key is 62, getting real real close ,after the next cold shot it ought to be just "right" , hopefully next week for getting the most serious. They are starting to school up real good now according to the depth finder from what Ive seen scouting

Anyone know of a website location to find current water temps? I'm specifiaclly looking for Lake Monroe water temps. The boat is ready, just waiting for the water temps to get a little lower.

Thanks,
Chris Bany

You are probably looking at the best resource... if anyone has fished it of late.

Several here do.

Kissimmee was 67 on Saturday morning.

and...............................how was the bite, or are you gonna keep that a secret! Might go to Monroe early next week or maybe try Harney. Sounds like they're catching some there. Not much doing here, everything is small and the water is back at 74 from 68 on Sunday. I figure with the drop this weekend they might be on fire by Monday or Tuesday. Maybe we can get up with each other.

Default Bite was OK

Was overcast all day - went out at 7 and in by noon. About 10 I counted 26 boats by the old power station - guess everyone is off this week. First hour or so we caught about 20 shad - they were biting good - a lot of fun - the shad was on the south end of the channel. After 9 we moved a little farther north closer to power station in about 7 to 7.5 feet of water. Caught a few more shad here and there and finally found some crappie - keepers = 6 and 1 throw back. If this cold front moves through should be good early next week.

Thanks Don. I think I'll try to make it out to Lake Monroe this Sat or Sun. I'm hoping the cold front will have'em bitting.

Thanks again,
Chris Bany
