Default Dora Canal/lake

I will be down on Dora this coming week and have never fished it. Any information for this time of year would be greatly appreicated. I also would like any info on any of the other connecting lakes. I am from Illinois where the fall bite has not really started and have this chance to head to Florida.

thanks for any help.

Default Welcome

I haven't been out in over a week due to the wind and weather and I'm not sure I'll be going for another week due to catching up on chores, but if I were going out this weekend I'd try the north shore of Beauclaire to start. I would troll about 3' deep in 6 to 7' of water. If you don't see fish there look for them in 10 to 12' water anywhere in the lake and fish near the bottom. Good luck and be sure to post a report. Also look for the boats and jump in. They're most likely locals and have located fish.

Guess you will have to do what I plan to do. First go to a slab feast and follow the group around to find there secret spots then you have a starting point.hehe
