I was in that area two years ago during Christmas. Fished Saddlecreek, parker and teneroc. This was the most beautiful water I have ever seen for fishing but due to the drought we didnt catch anything but 1 speck and 5 bass in 4 days of fishing. I will be back down there this Christmas if any way possible. I might have to get some advise from yall if you dont mind sharring. If yall aree ever in Tennessee just go to our state forum and we will try to give some hints on where to go.

dont know nothing about them waters but it sounds like to me down sizing your jig wouldnt hurt...if im fishing and getting alot of pecks and not hooking up ill put on a 1/32 jig head and a 1in lil husler tube in the same color i want using in the 2in and most the time ill start landing fish...also trying using a fixed peg float with no weight but the jig head...alot of time i see crappie will hit a bait up before they pull it down...
