Great conditions on the fest day w/78 degree water as the norm. What bite there was for Chuck and I was early rather than later, slight chop entered in as the mornin' progressed. Although Chuck's boat witnessed only four keepers between us, I learned an important thing. I have always been in favor of, when long-lining, of a turbulence bait ( eg. twister tails, thumper- type tails, or blade baits eg. beetle spins, in-line spinners etc.) Well Mr. Chuck showed me that tube baits will also do the trick especially when you experiment with color changes. Hats off to the Chuckster! Now where's my box of 1,000 tube baits?

Excellent location at the Park except for what seems to be a nagging problem-NO electricity at the rented pavillion!!! Persistence again prevailed and the bath house outlets were again used for electric that was needed for various chores. Speckanator had some knives that used cigarette plug-ins and he was able to do the bulk of the filetting, thanks Mike.
The usual people that couldn't attend were missed but we'd like to see some of the "I'll come next timers" start to build the numbers at our events.

See ya at the next event...conditions are gettin' right!
