Default Had good news today.

Talked with a girlfriend (yes the wife knows her well) today. She lives on our island in Leesburg. She told me that she measured the lake level in Harris Creek and it is 31" higher than it was last april. Now THAT is some good news. People won't have to put ladders against the bulkhead to crawl down to their boats this year. Such wonderful news, I'm gonna dream about it tonight.

Guess what the problem with high water is-------specks will spawn way back in the woods and cypress heads where you can't get a boat to them and it's tough wading(saw it)---shu

The problem with that is the older you get the shorter your pole gets too. Now that your mind is in the gutter.......I use to fish with a 16' to cover more area, now that thing gets too heavy after an hour or so. Can use my 12 footers for hours. AND NOW your mind is back where it should be.
