I was fishing last night just after sundown on a rock jetti. I was jiggin with one pole and had a glowing bobber and jig set up just to see what might happen. I figured if I had two poles with me, I might as well have both of them in the water. I got hung up on a rock and was quite focused on getting un-hung when suddenly my other pole bent and almost came out of the holder, at the same time there was a huge commotion on top of the water, I thought I must have hooked a monster. I was so excited I almost fell in the water trying to get to my rod. When I got my rod under control I saw a beaver slapping the water with his tail. I soon realized the beaver must have caught one of his legs in my line as he was swimming and really freaked out. He ended up swimming all the way around the jetti slapping his tail and making all kinds of noise. Didn't catch another fish the rest of the evening.
