I have an old Case three blade Stockman that has the bone worn smooth from carrying around in my grand-dad''s and father's overall pockets. A true redneck would never be caught dead without his pocket knife.![]()

KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY.
Here's something to remember...I've accidentally tried to get through airport security with my blade still in my pocket. BTW I carry a swiss army knife or my Gerber although I am starting to like a Winchester I got as a gift recently. Anyway...I backed out of security instead of letting them have it. Airports usually have a post office. If you can find it, buy a mailer and mail your blade home or to your destination. I'm military so one time in Baltimore I saved postage and left the knife at the USO until I got back...
i carried my pocket knife to washington,D.C.,I WAS about to tour the capitol and i remembered my pocket knife.i ask the guard to keep my knife but he could not do this, just put it in the garbage can or under a bush till you return,he said.! i didn"t think my hen and rooster would look good in either of those places,my son-in law had already toured the capitol and offered to hold my knife while my wife and i made the tour...:D ... . great trip,museums..super,great suggestion to mail your knife home if you get caught in airport with knife in pocket.

I carry a superknife. I never have to sharpen, just change the blade.
Yep, coosajimmy, I met a flight at the airport in Orlando once. I had to "hide" my knife in the men's room garbage. I found out how lucky I was; the custodian changed the plastic bag while I was awaiting the flight. Lost a fine "stockman"-style knife. Was frustrated about that for days.![]()
Proud to be an AMERICAN fisherman!
I have had many knives over the years from Buck to Uncle Henry, but I now carry a Sheffield folding Lockback Utility knife from Lowes and I love this thing.

I too carry one all the time, I have many but I seem to always go for a Case just my personal favorite...
I carry a multi-tool by leatherman called Juice CS4. It is small enough to fit in my pocket, but big enough to rebuild a car engine.... or dehook a fish.
It is in my pocket every day... warning though, be careful doing wiring with them they are not insulated...![]()
This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.
Today is a Blessed Day and a Prosperous Day
Bad news.............
After a duck hunting trip this past weekend, I have lost my kershaw...
I will be getting another this week to replace it. ( I hope )
I carry two small Old Timer pocket knives. Keepsakes from my stepdaught and my stepdad. I'm sure they would want me to keep using them. I used to wear an Old Timer on my belt but the strap broke and I never did replace it, lol. Yes I feel naked too without my knives. I also carried one in my pocket through school but things just aren't what they used to be anymore.
