Default Beautiful...

That's a beautiful knife, almost too pretty to use... Is that a ceramic blade?

Talking Since we're doing "show & tell" ......

Here's my SOG Flash II .....

SOG Knives, SG-98S, Zytel Flash II, Part Serrated Edge
SG-98S

SOG Knives, Flash Folders feature the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) opening mechanism. The S.A.T. helps propel the blade to the open position, after the one handed opening has been initiated by the operator. The handle has a slide release bolt-action lock, front to back reversible "bayonet mounted" discrete carry pocket clip (mounted at the butt end), and an additional safety lock for secure carry when the blade is closed (switch showing red = ready to open). All Flash Folders have AUS8 (Rc. 57-58) stainless steel blades with dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening.

Flash II 3.5" blade .125" thick, 4.5" closed, 8" open, 3oz

Mine has the "belt clip" mounted/set on the other side (not on the "opening buttons" side, as pictured) Representative picture & features description are from SOG website, and are not of my own making. ....... cp

I think papa sages knife is a Damascas blade. I have had a Case knife since i was 4 years old.Dad snaped the blade in half so i would not fall on it.Got a box of em.My favorite is a Damascus Case Canoe. It has a first cut stag handle, and it is beautiful.Thought I lost it once, and felt bad for days.

Looked Damascus to me too. I have a damascus steel knife that is extremely sharp but I would like top get someone to make 2 folding lock blades out of it for me. I have an old friend and would like to do something special for his B-Day. If any of you make knifes and would consider such a project please PM me. I can E-Mail you a photo and length of the knife so you can give me an idea of price.

I carry a plain old two blade barlow, goes in the poket as soon as I get my pants on and stays there until I hit the hay.
