Like the rest of you guys I feel naked without a knife. I have so many of them I have to rotate them day by day. Gerbers, Bucks, Cases, Benchmade USA ATS-34, Old Timers, Ozark Trail, Smith and Wesson Model#620, and two handmade blades from Arkansas. Also have a Gerber Multitool which is always on my belt when fishing or working. They are all all shaving sharp, a dull knife can hurt you trying to force it, a sharp one cuts easily.
Well I had to jump in this one....I too carry a pocket knife...It is a Schrade lockblade ,measures 4 1/2 in. open and 2 1/2 closed..It has a ring to carry on a key chain but the ring came loose so I took it off my keychain and started carrying it in my pocket....Have had it for 25 years and I never leave home without it....Its become part of me........If I am not wearing pockets its in my purse....I use it at work, fishing, shopping, and at Birthday parties............Great for opening those hard to get out of the box toys....
Those are some nice knives he makes. I like blacksmithing for that reason but have not got to do much of it in a couple of years. Never used a gas forge the ol' guy that let me come over and try used a coal forge. Dad is suppose to be building a blacksmith shop up behind his house( maybe one day when he stays home long enough to do it)

I carry a three bladed case knife,MY grandfather carried it, My Dad carried it and became mine, when My dad Passed. I've seen my grandad and dad use it and now My grandsons see Me using it and the first born knows when poppa goes to the other side, He will carry it.
Some small tokens mean more to some that all the money in the world.
I guess I'll jump in here too..I always carry one and I won't even walk 300 feet up to the mailbox with out it. Guess habits formed more then 60 years ago are hard to break. Don't know what some of these young folks would do if they had to skin an elephant or a moose or something on the way up to get the paper.

Received a nice Kershaw assist-open knife about two years ago and love it! Carry it all the time. Didn't know if I'd like the assist-open feature but don't think I could live without it now. The patially serrated blade is a nice feature too.
Model is Kershaw Ken Onion 1620GRYST.
Kinda like this one but with the partially serrated edge.

I've carried Case, Old Timer, Swiss Army knife, Buck, Puma, Gerber, and Leatherman. Most usually lately, I've always got a folding Buck knife and a Leatherman on my person. That Leatherman is one handy piece of equipment.
