Lassoed a crappie

No, kidding! When I reeled in my line after a nice tug of war, the line was wrapped around the crappie and secured in the gills...the hooks was laying flush with the side of the fish....my husband says don't tell cause no one will believe that fish story!

although this is kindof mean .. when i was a kid with a few of the neighborhood brats we would spin a spoked bicycle wheel into the air near streetlamps and the bats would get stuck in the spokes or slapped to the road.. ha

Hey az, a buddy of mine caught a pigeon like that right in the butthole one time ha ha. I have caught one while casting before, but my aim was not as good. I am like chatty, I have several stories but since people are hard of believing things, I do not tell much.

I was at an Urban Lake fishing for trout or catfish,went to chuck as far as I could and watched in slow motion as the line went out and wrapped about 10 times around a flying pigeon.Bad thing was a bunch of people were there also,had to reel it in and take the line off with kids and all kinds of people watching me,lol.tried to be gentle but it was dead from coming in through the water for about 25 yards,lol.You don't forget a thing like that.
