Snapper and Grouper are out of season in December in the GOM, next time do yourself a favor and book an inshore trip for Bull Redfish, Black Drum, and Sheepshead!!! Lots cheaper than the deep sea thing and all 3 of those fish eat
real good!!!... plus the weather isn't really a factor on the inshore trips!

Nice reds. And to think, we used to throw those sheepshead back a few years ago, but now, sure are good smoked on the grill. Here a couple from the GOM.


Those specks are sure good eating too.

Those are some real nice fish!!!
I actually like the Sheepshead a little better than the Reds. The Sheepshead remind me of the Speckled Trout when fried.

I got this Red fishing from the seawall at Perdido Pass in Gulf Shores.

(unless you are talking inshore vs paying for an entire deep sea charter by yourself)
