Default Little White Fish Lake

I been bored lately so I'm going to start trying different lakes in search for crappie. I went to this lake this past Friday morning , the lake had fog over it and could not see very far and needless to say I left my map book home so i had to rely on my gps to find my way.

I started out trolling in with some jigs and all i could find was a few small perch and bluegill, after a couple of hours i was ready to hit the road and came a cross a 15 ft basin in a cove area that was stacked with crappie. Most of the fish were smaller ones , i caught many fish and kept 25 for a photo shot and released all but 5 for a afternoon snack. The water temp was 70 degrees with water clarity stained and the colors i found working best was a lite colored purple and yellow/chartreuse , it was a fun lake to fish but i don't see my self going back any time soon.

Default Nice catch Jim!

It's good to increase your line up of lakes to fish. I do the same thing so that I have options depending on weather, etc.

Sounds like that lake was like Hudson. Lots of small whites.

A little bit bigger than Hudson lake. Nice catch is that lake off 131 before the sand lake area?
