Is there anywhere I can get a wiring diagram of this unit? The motor than turns the unit quit working. I have tried another pedal and it is not in the pedal. It is not getting power somewhere before the head of the unit as the autopilot light does not come on either. I am looking to but a new one anyway but I would like to solve this problem and put this motor on another boat. I have also cleaned the contacts in the plug and no difference.

Call John Jones at jonestrollingmotor.com
He's an ASC and dealer, and very helpful. He's a member here but doesn't visit too often. His number at the shop is (870) 773-3474
He can tell you how to fix it, tell you what parts you need, and sell you the parts at reasonable prices (noting on a boat is cheap) with reasonable shipping. Or he can fix it for you.
You did check for voltage at the plug didnt you? Just a thought, sometimes it is the simple things![]()
Callshy PM me with your email addy and I will send you MK's service manual. Beware tho, its about a 6 meg file.

After tearing this unit apart and ohming things out, checking voltage, etc. I found the problem to be th board in the head of the unit (auto pilot). I just bypassed the board and at least now it will steer. Order a larger trolling motor Wednesday so I should have it next week. The messed up one will go on the pontoon boat. Thanks to everyone for the help.
