Thread: Lowrance Lcx-15

Hello everybody,
Can anyone give me any feedback on these units , i have an opportunity to get one at a reasonable price. Just wanted to see if i can get any pro's & Con's

I bought one when they first came out. It's a nice unit and shows pretty good detail. I got mine before all these color unit hit the market. I don't really have any regrets but had I known the color units were coming out so soon, I may have waited. Then again, with electronics, everything is outdated when you buy it.

I use mine when I'm running the out board, but when I stop to fish I use a flasher.

the X15 is a good unit with a good pixel count so it will have a good picture...but i would suggest looking around some and check for some closeout deals on a color unit...with the new HD series Lowrance units comming out the older units are going for a good price now and the color is much better than a normal greyscale unit but i dont think you will have any problems out of the X15

Have one and love it, but would like to upgrade to newer color unit that had the same power or better.
