I have a manual but i was just wanted to know how to set it up! Like my sentivity an gps set up very electron dump. Do alot of slow trollin just want to understand it better.

Use this link and download the LMS520 emulator. It is the actual unit and you can practice with on the computer before you use it.

I've installed the emulator 4 times and it won't ever come up. Some kind of error. My guess is that it's setup for winxp. After all, isn't the 520c a discontinued model? I bought one in late Nov off ebay for my boat project and have not got to the point of installing it. I just hooked it up to a battery in my living room and played around with it while watching TV. Nice thing about the GPS portion is that the menu is the same as the IFinder I have. So, I am somewhat familiar with the GPS portion of the unit. All I need to do is read the manual bout 20 times to figure out everything I can do with the thing.

had the same problem with my emulator. Oh well. try setting your sensitivity while out fishing. Put your jig under the transducer when you see it, adjust sensitivity until it almost disappears. Sensitivity is set. I have a 480 unit that I use the "fish reveal" and it really works well once adjusted correctly. Don't know if 520 has this, but it works well. You will have to play with it to get the settings right for what you want.
