well, you are going to spend more time looking than fishing for the first few trips with it. You are going to enjoy looking at structure that you may have fished for years and realizing that it may be totally different from what you had always thought it was. You will enjoy finding many new spots to fish and if you decide to use the snapshot feature you will enjoy posting your latest finds on the forum.. Congrats!... Looking forward to seeing those pics!! lol

    Don't forget to look up!

You'll enjoy it more than you can imagine. Don't bother to take rods with you the first few times out. You'll be looking and not fishing.

All you SI finder owner make me jealous with envy! Thank God I know how to locate enough Crappie to stock the freezer and have a good time. I know if I had one of them thar things, I'd only be taking one rod out and checking out about every nook and cranny I came across.

Suggest you have someone else steer the boat so you won't run into/over anything while you are looking at your new .
Oh, and when you post those snapshots include the coordinates also - LOL!

I really hope you knew the answer to this before you plunked down $3000.00 for the unit.

As everyone has said, YES, you will enjoy it. But it's only a tool, and what you make it. Hopefully you have your fish catching skills under par, because this will only help you find them. The hard part is still up to you.

    Now go out and play.

You mean it won't put the fish on the hook?
