Thread: SD cards for Lowrance ifinder expedition c

Does anyone know if you can use SDHC cards in these units? I have only seen SD cards up to 2GB without having to go to an SDHC. Says they can only be used in devices that can handle high speed stuff. Would like to get about an 8 gig card to get everything on one card. Just curious.

I put an SDHC SD card in my Hummingbird 997 and it worked fine. The research I did online stated that it had more to do with the age of your electronics than anything else. How old is you unit? You can always buy the SDHC card at a place that you can return it if it does not work.

I have only owned it for 2 years. Got it new so you would think it would work. They just couldn't tell me at Lowrance. Told me to do the same thing, try it and take it back if it didn't work. I'll see what happens.
