Thread: Fishing hot spots map & 797

I put the card in the slot and nothing changes, I have read thru the manual and it says plug in and it will work. HELP anyone ? Its a hotspots premiere fishing card, it works great in the hand held.

OOPs don't mean to be dumb but I never heard of the premier series, in fact I don't believe you can use a hotspots brand of card in 797. Its gotta be a Navionics, is the hand held a Garmin?

I have a Navioncs card in my 797 and it works fine. Not sure if the hotspot map will work. Thats when you pull out the old paper map and just take the GPS points from that

Jaxsprat is right. The hot spots premier fishing card will not work. It has to be a Navionics card.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll still be using the handheld for a while till I get another card.
