You must have gotten the boat back. Can't wait till crappie camp.

Tom what mount do you have the 997 on? I am going to have to get me one. I have mine in the console on my boat. And do not like it inside like it is.
Its mounted inside this.

And I like its out of the weather. But its hard to see sometimes.

I looked it up on Ram site. Bout 60 bucks or so. It is like Todds.

Safety cable made from old kill switch cable. I take my unit off at the ram mount. Easier for me. Just in case I drop the unit in the water. Supposed to float, but I doubt it will with the mount attached. Gonna make one for my Garmin. At my age, I drop things on a regular basis. CYA cables......
