    Question Help With AS Interlink

I just got my Interlink and was wondering if any of you have one also. I have a weather sence and GPS antenna hooked up to my 87C right now and want to loop it thru the Interlink so the 797 on the dash can use them too. I have a Y-cable too if I need it.

Which configuration setup did you use?

I'm gonna install the Interlink today. I have upgraded my software on both the 87c and 797.

When you powered up did you go into the menu and go over the settings?

I have an external GPS antenna on my Matrix 87c and an internal antenna on the 797. I was thinking about running the antenna wire right to the Interlink.

87c is on the trolling motor & 797 on the console. Any thoughts?

Little over my head, but I know you have to have a common antenna for the two units. Don,t know how to get around the internal antenna. CP might be able to address that.

    In the NAV menu tab

scroll down to the GPS receiver override

pick your antenna here or .........

if I remember, if auto selected, it will pick the interlink antenna first.

    good luck

Thumbs up She's Up And Runn'n

Just got it installed. Seems to be working great. I ran the antenna to the interlink. I then selected the interlink for the antenna on the 87C and the internal for the 797. The antenna for the 87C is right on the bow. That's right at 19' from my 797 transducer. I figure it will be more accorate this way. Now I can use the 87c and the trolling motor to get on the spots I mark. Sure can't use the 797 till HB gets the bugs out. Boy I'm looking forward to that! :D
