Works good. Here are a couple of pics of how I did it.....Just trying to make things easier on me, not trying to reinvent the wheel here.

Hmmmm....I would think you would have to be sitting a little low in the boat for that to work, but I like the idea. I sit on a deck and I want to think pulling the rope from a higher angle might not work as well. But I gotta try it![]()

I can set in you seat and deploy or stand up and deploy. Rope is not tied to the shaft. It is just there so I want trip on it. You pick the rope up, you got elevation. I just stand up and hang onto the head of the TM and ease it into the water (driveway). I am working on a shaft handle also. I ain't done conjurin' up stuff yet.
Those holes in the deploy lever is where my paint scraper handle usta mount. I just recycled one of the holes.I guarantee this works great. Just keep the rubber bumpers oiled, jam nut up, and I also Vaseline the crap out of the cradle and the TM motor housing where it lays in the cradle.
I understand about why the rope is tied to the shaft. I am just trying to figure out how the rope will make it come out of the "Stow" position....Or is the rope used after you bring it out of the stow position?....Sometimes drawing a picture and coloring it in for me still dont work![]()

Pulling up and back on the rope is the same thing as pushing down on the deploy handle, except lots easier. It deploys the TM. I ain't got the docking part completely figured out yet. Working on it. Crappiestalker gave me a good idea yesterday.
I'll have to take a hard look at it this afternoon...Thx for sharing Tom.
