Humminbird 931C Opinions
Anybody have a 931C? Two years ago these were retailing at $1149.00, I just ordered one from a closeout at $474.95. I've been running a Garmin 250C, but it just died. I also have a Garmin 498 plotter/finder, so I just need the 931C as a separate finder. It's got a 7" screen, which I'm going to be loving!

Where in the world have you been hiding?
I thought by now you would have retired & moved down my way..
I just got a 777c2 for my birthday but have not had it out but a couple of times...My first HB. I sure could have used the bigger screen..
Take care and don't stay gone so long..

I'm still working, hopefully just another year! I did move from northern PA, down close to the border of Maryland. Fishing has improved significantly for me with the warmer waters here. I was just on the Susquehanna Flats, which is the top of the Chesapeake Bay fishing for stripers this morning. No stripers, but lots of perch , spot and one cat. The 931C arrived Sat, so I got it installed and had it on the water today. Wow, what a difference between my old Garmin 250C. Garmin makes a great GPS, but their less expensive finders leave something to be desired. Gotta hit the neighbors for a cookout now, so have a great day. Maybe this time next year I'll be able to spend the fall checking out those southern crappie!
