Day one gone by. No response to invitation. Surely they have a rep that is up to the challenge.

    Hey Cane,

I think they should hire you. Stick you in the R&D area. You probably know more about the product than the reps.

Cane Pole, suggestion. Many of us are not as computer knowledged as you, what if a seminar would be organized by the people who post on this blog, to teach, do a little fishing and meet face to face others who we communicate with. It could be at a central lake for convience of midwest fishermen. A group of us could meet and organize the program, etc. to be held in the spring during good fishing. We could even meet this fall and fish, discuss and develop this program, etc. Just an idea. Many of us have been asking for information from this blog and others and we have also expressed the wish that we would like a seminar. I am retired and have plenty of time to help with this project.

    What do others think?

I asked humminbird to do just this. I went to a 30 minute seminar at Grizzly Jigs back in January. Can't learn much in 30 minutes on a white board. It was helpful.

I understand the electronics of the unit, but I can't use it worth a hoot. It (997) want do what I want (or expect) it to do.

There is a BPS in Nashville with access to water. HB could have some on the water seminars there if they wanted to. People would pay to learn.

I like your Idea as long as I don't haveta do anything but listen..

To Humminbird, a request for change.

    Thanks Buzz,

I am a "has been". HB reps know what's going on. They just can't tell everything they know. Probably signed a piece of paper when they went to work not to divulge certain "critical" info. That's how it works.

Attention all crappie fishermen with SI units. Would you like to meet at a lake for 2-3 days for fishing and education on SI units. The education would be group discussion of SI units, fishing and using units those days, report on troubles, etc. Could be fun and educational. I don't think HB will participate, but I feel that there are many who have used the units for years and may be able to share info with those attending. Anyone got any ideas? I can help get it started, if I can get some help. Any volunteers?
