Default Adapter for HB

I need an adapter to convert 9pin connector to usb...I ordered the kit to download updates to my HB only to find out I have to have another cable with USB connector... I'll have more in the PC stuff than in the Depth Finder.

I don't have but one 9 pin port on the back of my tower & my printer is connected to it..

Where can I find and adapter & how much are they?

Thanks....

PS: I just bought this unit & it is already outdated....

You can buy a serial to USB connector on Ebay that will work for you for very little.

Question Hey Don ...

you looking for one of these : BELKIN 9 PIN SERIAL CONNECTOR TO USB - eBay (item 370075970889 end time Aug-15-08 04:10:49 PDT) or is it too short ??

Most of the ones I looked at online, went for between $25-30 (+S/H) ... so, any computer geek store should have them for that much, or less.

Wonder if your computer fixing friend would have a extra one, lying around or stuck in a drawer, somewhere

I checked thru my computer stuff pieces and parts collection ... but did not find any 9pin serial to USB connector Sorry !!

... cp
