Default New Trolling motor ?

Long time lurker, first time poster here : ). I just got a Minn Kota Endura 36lb thrust model and have a question. Aside from locking it up is ok to leave it hooked up to the boat not covered up?

Thanks in advance. Gotta go out and catch some fish now : )

Welcome aboard. I wouldn't leave it on the boat like that. It would be too easy to steal. Where do you fish at?

North Central Indiana. I just stick to the small local lakes.

Not good to leave wiring exposed to sun. Wire insulation will degrade rapidly when continuously exposed to uv rays. Cover the boat with a cheap canvass and save your TM's life. MHOAO
