Question ? on map offset for Joby Humminbird..

Reference: N36.22.475 W088.06.264 zoom 1000 ft (NVB). Reference Aerial Power Crossing, Ky Lake, Paris Landing, Tn.

Could I not use this as a reference for map offset? Save me a trip on up to river bridge (and gas). I fish this area this time of the year.

Thanks,

Tom

You really need a reference point. Bridge so you know where you are at and then there will be question to do the map offset.

There are pilings across the lake. It is TVA power lines (aerial) crossing the river.

Pilings are big as bridge pilings.

What is difference?

That will be fine as long as you know where you are at.

Ok. The power lines are referenced on the NVB.
I kinda know where I am at, but some folks question this.

Thanks
