Humminbird GPS question
Is there a Humminbird GPS unit that has the 4X/second refresh rate, or something close to it? I just want the GPS, not a sonar/gps combo unit, if possible.
I have the 997 mounted on my console, and a Matrix 97 up front for trolling. It sounds like the Matrix will not get the refresh rate update. If I want to troll with a unit that updates faster, I will have to add one.
Any suggestions?

We no longer make a GPS only unit for 2010. The last ones we made (155c, 955c, 786ci) have not received that update yet.
I have not received a listing of all of the units that will receive this update so I can’t say that these will or will not get this or not.

But guess that Is life.
I know when I bought my Humminbird 987c-Si I was told they would update it as long as it was working. . And did until these last updates this year. Then its out the window also looks like.

I would hold off writing off the Matrix 97 and 987 units Pete. I heard that the 987 will get all the 2010 model year updates, though not officially. I have also not heard one way or the other about the Matrix 97 units yet so we will have to wait and see.
