Thread: Two battery 12 Volt System

I have a 12 volt trolling motor. If I hook 2 batteries up in parallel to get 12 volts, do I need a two bank charger to charge them or will my current single bank charger do the job?

Yes, this will work. You need to make sure the batteries are the same type and same age.

Charging time will be longer.
