I believe I have fished some parts of a river where they have that sort of device, cause you don't want to be seen fishing their honey holes. It comes in one format- 12 gauge double barrel.....

I bet if people started doing this. Lots of people would start posting a lot of waypoints to every bed they find. I sure know I would and smile the whole time I was posting the waypoints and what cove or section of the lake they were in.

I have got an idea for a jammer and was wandering if anyone has thought of this yet.I worked signal corp in the army and we had some pretty neat jamming tech back then and was thinking of something to jam the signal. Anyone have any thoughts about this please chime in..................ifish
I would just suggest you get your own side scan & find mine and everybody elses. You ight be suprised how many good ones you would find that you never knew were there.

Thumbs down

Why not go fishing and have fun. It sounds like you being on the lake fishing your best stuff isn't healthy for you. Maybe you can make this jammer, and you could fry the electronics on your boat. That would be funny.

Buy land, build a lake, then put structure in it. It'll be yours. Or get an ulcer freaking out that somebody might find your golden pile.

Get over it, please.

We'd be lucky if guys like this would shoot themselves. I would equate these guys with the motorcycle riders that pop wheelies at 85MPH on a busy highway. I'm all for these guys killing themselves, just do it on an empty gravel road in the country where only a tree or fencepost will suffer.

There are some real idiots in this world!

i believe that would be a mistake i just like a lot of people carry a gun .i would not want to shot some one but if you was dumb enough to pull a weapon to protect something that don't really belong to you i guess you could very well get buried .i am not saying that you cant protect yourself but think about it, in a situation like that it would either be me or you .and i believe that it would be how ever was the fastest.but the best thing to do is to get over it and move on there is a whole lake to fish and if you did that they wouldn't be a problem

I think you guys are all missing his point. It's not about him owning the brushpiles. I've had the same thing happen to me a lot this season. It gets to be annoying when you see guys coming by you, just to mark the spot you're catching fish at. Sure its public water but go find your own fish. They have the unit to do so. I decided to get me some side scan units this year and i've expanded my knowledge of a lake i've been fishing for over 40 years by just scouting new areas. But its just annoying when they wait for you find those piles then mark them when you're sitting on them.

Sure wasn't me doing the shooting, and yes we did paddle on, quickly. When you are on a tree lined river its pretty hard to see where shots came from. Found out later that it happened to some others also in one certain section of this river.
