Please tell me the Matrix 97 will get the gps refresh rate update as well. I have the 97 mounted on the front and the 997 back on the console. I also have one puck connected to both units, of course, running through the interlink. Looks like I may be toast. Please tell me I'm wrong. I can live with just one unit refreshing faster, because of the interlink. Just as long as it is the 97 I have mounted up front.

I have not heard anything about any of teh Matrix units getting any of the 4.700 update features. I don't know if this is because they won't or because Engineering has not checked to see if they even can accept the update. Will have to wait to find out.

Thanks, guess I'll have to wait and see. Looks like I'll have to buy a Garmin handheld. I don't think I can afford to put more money into humminbird equipment just to get a faster refresh rate. $3,000 should be enough.
