Laser 52 RF. By a long way the worst trolling motor I've ever been around.
This is the kinda chit that makes me a skeptic on all new gizmos.

I did the same thing---quit on me the first trip. Sent it back to the factory, and they traded me a cable steer for it. Gave me the Motor Guide cure.

I ended up ordering a Terrova from Cabelas. Should have it next week. Thanks for the input. It helped me justify the additional cost. I heard the I-Pilot has been delayed until December. Looking forward to trying it out.

good choice on the terrova, I have had one for a while and love it, I use the two turning arrowa at the bottom of the foot controll a lot, easy as eating pie and they are easy on the batteries also, good luck

I've got the Power Drive V2 on one boat and the Terrova on another, and I far prefer the Terrova for a number of reasons.

I still have one of those out in the shed with Gator mount I would sale cheap. I think it is a 67 lb thrust.

The Terrova is awesome! I have the AP and CP feature as well and stow the foot pedal in a storage box. Got a lot more room on my front deck without the pedal and cable.

This is the first I've heard about i-pilot, sounds awesome....but I'll wait till it's out a while and hear reviews before I consider shelling out the dough for it.
