Over the last few days some of you with 1197 were going to download the New Gps Response Enhancement for your 1197 & try it out at slow speeds.........
has anybody got a chance to do it just looking for some reports on the reaction at slow speeds 0.5 or 0.7 mph how does it work??? Thanks....

I think alot of us guys have the 900 series and will have to wait till January.
I was able to play with the GPS more today.. The only thing that would make it better is to have a direction indicator at speeds below .07 mph..
If the largest number of units in te market is the 900 series, then why didn't Humminbird work to release it first? You know paint with a wider brush (keep more of us from complaining). Maybe there are more 1100 and 700 series out there than 900.

Good things come to those that wait!:D I know what ya'll mean----I want it now, but, I guess we gotta wait a couple more months. I am more excited about the DI. Of course the GPS refresh rate is going to be great also!:D
Maybe because the 1100 series is HB's flagship model.. I dunno
We all should be thankful that our electronics have the ability to be upgraded now. A couple years back, you would spend big bucks for a unit, and a year later something newer and better would come out. Making your one year old unit obsolete!
There are some updates on features that I do not use. Therefore, memory is used up and someday, I will not be able to update the functions that I use. Why don't they consider this and allow us to select which funtions need to be updated. I have seen some updates on microsoft that deals with other countries. Just a thought and a expensive toy.
Not to be negative completly, but HB, thanks for the update. Can't wait until January.
Have a great holiday.
