Default Humminbird Update 4.700 Video (GPS refresh)

Took my Humminbird 1197 to the Ohio River today.. Thought a few of you would be interested in a video.. I did this in one take off the hip.

    *********************************************** Revision****************************************** ******************
The video I posted shows more about tracking speed.. Notice how close I zoom the screen in and the bread crumb trail keeps up with the icon.. Never have I been able to zoom into the 20 ft. range and there not be a bread crumb trail lag at 30 mph.. If the unit can keep up at 30 mph.. .04 mph will not be a problem..

Added another video to show the 2d sonar colors to choose from:

Thats great but I have more problems with mine when running slow (less than0.6). Does this do anything for this?

Problem resolved.... However, I would like to see an option to change the the size of the donut shaped icon.. Maybe even an option to change the icon to an arrow head that points your direction so you can really fine tune the accuracy at slow trolling speeds..

What exactly was I supposed to see ? If you make a sharp turn , how long does
it take your unit to react ? Or even more to the point, if you make a slight
course adjustment at low speed ,, how long does it take to react ?

Is this update available now ? I just went to the website last week , it was not
    listed for my unit.

    thanks

Mr. Mo, What I was trying to show is that the bread crumb trail stays with the boat icon at high speeds.. In the past at 30 mph the breadcrumb trail would lag behind the boat icon due to only refreshing once a second..Now that that the unit refreshes 4 times a second the bread crumb trail keeps up with the boat icon.. Super responsive! The only update I have looked for was for the 1197.. More software updates coming in the next couple weeks from what I read..

Nice video, thanks I guess all of us with 997 are waiting to see HOW the unit will work at speeds of 1mph, & lower say o.5mph, and can it do a course correction to a marked waypoint? THANKS
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.

    That sounds great ,

I will have to update when I get home . I live on the lake , weather permitting
I'll take it for a test spin tonight.

Hey thanks, Due to my GPS puck and transducer are both mounted to the transom I cannot show how responsive the unit is to trolling. But, I have the upmost confidence that you will be satisfied..

See if I can explain it this way.. There are only 360 degrees of travel on a given lake.. On the earlier software release the screen would only update once every second which made for sloppy response time when making a turn.. Lets say the unit updates on the 10 degree marks with earlier software... New software allows the unit to update at every 2.5 degree mark with the turn radius and turn speed remaining constant.. Thus allowing the screen to show the direction of travel more accurately..
