X3 since I'm pulling a PD off and installing a Terrova just for the i-pilot features (once3 it's installed).

Sounds like the autopilot I used to have on a powerdrive spinning wildly.Think I'll hold off on this one.Thanks for the heads up foul hook.

I've heard that a low voltage will cause the AP to act bonkers.

I put Foul Hook in touch with the lead engineer on the i-Pilot project, and as I understand it, the problem has been identified....and the issue is NOT with the i-Pilot.

This is a fundamentally allusive answer. What if it happens to others?

As expected the people at Minn Kota are eager to please. The TM must be able to rotate 360 deg. When the collar broke the TM dropped down and took all the slack out of my transducer cable. This alone would bind the unit up and cause the problem. Thanks to Paul and The service dept I am back on the water . You too Jason. Thanks! If you ever get to the real world ( South Georgia ) look me up. I will be riding a white TRITON .
